When a philosophy or social movement systematically deploys obfuscating language, that is a sure sign they have something(s) to hide. Inconvenient facts are contrary to their views, and to state their views in plain language would be to invite an easy refutation.
Nowhere is this more obviously true than in the radical gender ideology that has so quickly captured the minds of so many in the ruling class in the west and a surprising number of western institutions.
The point of this Gender Jive series is not to hurt feelings, or to mock “trans” people, or as some Americans say “to own the libs,” but only to pull back the cover of this obfuscating language. Even people not on board with this sort of ideology, even people working to refute it, inadvertently add to the confusion by using some of these obfuscating neologisms.
Refuting and moving on from this madness will require us to speak plainly about these things. That is the purpose of this series.
